The opening ceremony of “Namibia in the Eyes of Chinese Photographers” photographic exhibition, which was jointly sponsored by China Photographers Association and Chinese Embassy in Nambia, was held in China Photography Exhibition Center on April 7. Distinguished guests such as HE Hage Geingob, prime minister of Namibia, Madame Zhao Shi and Mr. Li Qianguang, vice presidents of CFLAC and HE Xin Shunkang, Chinese Ambassador to Namibia, attended the opening ceremony.
The exhibition has selected 60 photos taken in Namibia by 7 Chinese photographers, by which Chinese audiences will have a glimpse of unique charm of Namibia. “The photographers who have been to Namibia, no matter where they come from or what kind of skin color they are, will invariably be fascinated with this primitive and modern, wild but reserved country. Its magnificence, beauty, passion and amazing scenery are so unforgettable.” Xie Mingyi, a Chinese photographer, said when talking about his shooting in Namibia.
