It is learnt from the signing ceremony between China Photographers Association (CPA) and Zheng Zhou Municipal Government on January 28 that the 1st China International Photographic Art Festival and the 16th China International Photographic Art Exhibition will take place at the same period in Zhengzhou, capital of Henan Province. It is reportedly the first time that two international brand events have been located in one domestic city in China. Zhang Guangzhi, Wang Yao, Gu Liqun, Wu Changzhong, Ma Yi, Wang Zhe, Liu Dong, Xu Daqing and other leaders of related parties attended the signing ceremony. 

CPA has so far four brand events, namely National Photographic Art Exhibition, China Photographic Art Festival, China International Photographic Art Festival and China International Photographic Art Exhibition. As a comprehensive exhibition held biennially, China International Photographic Art Exhibition will invite hundreds of excellent photographers and photographic organizations both at home and abroad and enable hundreds of thousands of amateurs of photography all over the world to exchange with masters and appreciate latest art achievement. Moreover, the first China International Photographic Art Festival will coincide with the 16th session of exhibition, which will confer awards for best photos and best planners and organize master class, high-end forum, large-scale inspiration seeking and a series of theme participations. The festival and exhibition will become a gathering for international photographers to showcase achievement, exchange skills and discuss future development. These international photographic art events will demonstrate the most excellent works of contemporary creation and promote Zhengzhou as an art and culture center in the world.
