On June 21, the grand premier ceremony of Chinese film Beginning of the Great Revival was launched in well-known AMC cinema in Toronto.
Before the official show, Chen Shuang, cultural counselor of Consulate General of China in Toronto, briefed over the audience that 2011 is the 100th anniversary of 1911 Revolution and the 90th anniversary of the founding of Communist Party of China. This epic movie shown at this commemorative moment will bring overseas Chinese and mainstream audience in Toronto to an objective and true knowledge of the key decade between 1911 and 1921 that determined China’s destiny.
The premier witnessed a great success. When the movie showed the ending, Heather, president of Canadian branch of Hua Lion Film Distribution Company, representatives from many mainstream and Chinese media as well as over 300 Toronto audiences gave warm applauses.
In the wake of the premier, the film will be released in AMC cinemas in the four metropolises in Canada as well as cities in USA such as Washington, Boston, Seattle and Atlanta.
