<p align="justify"> 金秋九月，丹桂飘香，硕果累累。由中国文学艺术界联合会、国家体育总局、中华全国归国华侨联合会、中国人民对外友好协会、中国外商投资企业协会、中国国际投资促进会、浙江省人民政府主办，湖州市人民政府承办的第四届中国湖州·国际湖笔文化节暨第八届全国极限运动大赛，今天隆重开幕了。首先，请允许我代表中共湖州市委、市人大、市政府、市政协和258万湖州人民，对各位领导、各位嘉宾、海内外朋友的光临表示热烈的欢迎！向对本次文化节的举办给予关心、支持和帮助的国家有关部门、省委、省政府、兄弟友好城市、海内外各界人士表示衷心的感谢！</p>
<p align="justify"> 湖州是湖笔的故乡，湖笔文化演绎了湖州两千多年灿烂的历史和文明。举办第四节中国湖州·国际湖笔文化节，是湖州站在新的发展起点上，深入贯彻落实胡锦涛总书记“6.25”重要讲话和省、市党代会精神，全面开展“解放思想、激发活力、创业富民、创新强市”大讨论大实践活动，全力实施增强实力、激发活力、彰显魅力，奋力实现在杭湖宁发展带中间崛起发展战略，加快科学发展、构建和谐社会，建设现代化生态型滨湖大城市的一项重大举措。本届湖笔文化节，突出“笔墨江南·清丽湖州”的主题，以笔为媒，力求通过举办一系列科技经贸、文化旅游、体育竞技等活动，把一个具有交通便利、区位优势明显，人文荟萃、文化底蕴深厚，山水清丽、生态环境良好，民风淳朴、社会和谐稳定，经济繁荣、城乡协调发展等诸多独特优势和巨大发展潜力的湖州，全方位、多层次地展示给国内外朋友。</p>
<p align="justify"> 我们衷心希望，通过湖笔文化节，架起湖州与海内外联系和沟通的桥梁，进一步扩大湖州对外交流与合作，推动湖州经济社会又好又快发展。我相信，通过大家的共同努力，一定能把本届湖笔文化节办成“经济文化的盛会、开放交流的桥梁、人民群众的节日”。</p>
