<p> 该剧由中国儿艺副院长、国家一级编剧冯俐编剧，国家话剧院原副院长、国家一级导演査明哲执导，并集结了毛尔南、申奥、包尔温等多位实力主创。为更好地诠释该剧，在《山羊不吃天堂草》建组前，剧组部分主创还前往“明子”的家乡江苏省盐城市采风，为创作寻找灵感。</p>
