<p>　　《活着之上》是中南大学教授阎真经历六年精心营造推出的长篇小说，于2014年12月由湖南文艺出版社出版，作品节选版发表于当年《收获》杂志第六期，获得首届路遥文学奖。与会专家认为，阎真是独具特色、有强烈自省意识和追求经典的作家，他始终关注自己熟悉的知识分子人群，始终保持质朴的创作风格，小说通过描述历史学博士聂致远20年的生活历程，探讨当代知识分子在生活中的价值犹疑，直指学术圈与高校腐败，直面高校知识分子困境，以理解和体恤书写笔下每一个人物，既最大限度地还原了生活真实，又给人以超越现实的勇气和力量，是一部当代知识分子的精神启示录。</p></div>
