Stills of Ziemia obiecana
From June 29th to July 1st, the Ziemia obiecana brought by Poland's Teatr Nowy im. Kazimierza Dejmka W Lodzi has debuted at the Capital Theatre boutique repertoire invitational exhibition. Founded in 1949, the theatre inherits and carries forward the performance system of Stanislavski, showcasing the most exquisite achievements of contemporary drama, Polish native drama and Western avant-garde and absurd drama. Having won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1924, the Polish writer Władysław Reymont, with laurel of "Zola in Poland", has told the story of the rapidly expanding industrial city of Lodz, describing the complex mood and real life of the textile factory owners in his early piece the Ziemia obiecana.
