Gold Mask (A.D. 1st Century) in the Collection of National Museum of Saudi Arabia
Since the 1960s, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has conducted extensive archaeological investigation and excavation. Thanks to the archaeologists’ efforts, there came significant discoveries and precious excavations. From December 20, 2016 till March 19, 2017, the exhibition of “Roads of Arabia: Archaeological Treasure of Saudi Arabia” was on display at the National Museum of China. The Sponsors included Chinese State Administration of Cultural Heritage, the National Museum of China and the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage. The exhibition featured 466 items/sets of antique treasures from various museums of Saudi Arabia, offering a panorama view of archaeological and cultural discoveries within the domain of Saudi Arabia.
