From February 14 till 21, at the invitation of Monaco ambassador to China and Czech China Chamber of Collaboration (CCCC), a 6-member CFLAC delegation headed by Madame Zhao Shi, vice president of CFLAC, visited Monaco and Czech. During their visit in Monaco, Zhao Shi, Michelle Roger, state minister of Monaco, Catherine Fautrier, Monaco ambassador to China, Li Shaoping, cultural counselor of Chinese Embassy in France, Yu Jingsong, consul general of Chinese consulate in Marseille, Zhang Guobin, consul general of Chinese consulate in Strasberg as well as many political heads such as ministers of Internal Affairs and Finance and mayor of Monaco and celebrities attended related events of 2014 China Today Arts Week jointly sponsored by CFLAC and Monaco government. During their visit in Czech Republic, Zhao Shi respectively met with Jan Hamacek, president of House of Representatives of Czech Republic, and Katerina Kalistova, first vice minister of Ministry of Culture, and signed the Memorandum of Cooperation between CFLAC and CCCC with Jan Birke, president of CCCC. Zhao Shi also conducted discussions with vice governor of Karlovy Vary, first deputy mayor of Pilsen, president of the Folklore Association of the Czech Republic, president of organizing committee of Zilin International Children and Youth Film Festival, and director of Czech National Grand Theatre, concerning establishing artists’ exhibition and performance exchange and cooperation mechanism between CFLAC along with its affiliated associations and related Czech organizations. A consensus was then reached about co-hosting 2015 China Today Arts Week in Pilsen, cultural capital of Europe.
