In their trip to Cambodia, the CPA delegation not only learnt a lot about the history and culture of Cambodia as well as current situation of Cambodian photography, but also gave publicity to China International Photography Exhibition. Moreover, they established a new platform for the long-term exchange, cooperation and mutual visit and explored a new channel for multilateral development of photography, which provides new opportunities for Chinese photography on its way to overseas promotion.
Among the World Tour of China International Photography Art Exhibition, Calcutta in India became a new station. The successful holding of photography exhibition laid a foundation for further cooperation between both parties and accumulated helpful experience for holding similar events in the future. As China and India are blessed with expanding groups of photographic talents and abundant resources for creation, we are convinced that exchange and cooperation between the two countries will help promote the common development of photographic culture.
It was the first time that CPA delegation had brought China International Photography Art Exhibition to Nepal. On the opening ceremony held at the Main Hall of Nepal Fine Arts Academy, a place full of artistic atmosphere, Wang Lixin, charge d’affaires of Chinese Embassy in Nepal and Kiran Manandhar, president of Nepal Fine Arts Academy, delivered a speech respectively to show their complete recognition on CPA’s visit and exhibition in Nepal. As Wang Yao, president of CPA, addressed, China and Nepal have been on friendly ties since ancient times and witnessed increasingly frequent communications between literary and art circles of the two countries. She expected that photographers from China and Nepal will present more of cultural charms through their camera lens to the world. Thanks to this visit, the delegation obtained basic knowledge of and connections with current situation of photographic organizations in Nepal.
