2011 Beijing Design Week & the First Beijing International Design Triennial is scheduled to take place in Beijing from September 26th to October 3rd.
Beijing Design Week is schedule to be an annual event co-presented with one famous Chinese design institute. This year, we are working with Tsinghua University’s “First Beijing International Design Triennial”. “Desgin Beijing” is the theme of Beijing Design Week.
Many exponents of renowned design weeks from London, Milan, Berlin, Helsinki and Seoul had been invited to participate, along with more than 20 masters of design and about 400 first-class international designers.

From November 28 to 30, the International Summit Seminar of Presidents of Arts and Design Academies with the theme “The Basic Teaching of Fine Arts Education” was held in China Central Academy of Fine Arts. Presidents of Arts and Design Academies from U.S., U.K., Japan, Australia and Singapore sat together and unfolded the heated discussion over the issue of “Basic Teaching of Fine Arts Academy.”
The Craftsmanship and Creativity in the Digital Age

So, during the process of teaching, we do not specially encourage students to have wild imaginations without any reasons. We are not afraid of providing the rigorous training for students and do not fear that the rigorous training will trammel students’ thoughts.
